This project presents the development of an Online Auction and Marketplace System featuring role-based access control, live bidding, and real-time product tracking, designed to provide a secure, scalable, and interactive user experience.The system allows users to register under distinct roles such as admin, seller, or buyer, each with specific permissions and access levels. Sellers can list products for auction or direct sale, set starting bids, and manage listings, while buyers can place bids, track auctions live, and receive real-time updates through web notifications. Admins oversee platform activity, manage users, and ensure compliance with marketplace policies.Built with modern web technologies such as React.js for the front end and Node.js/Express.js for the back end, the application ensures a responsive and seamless interface. The architecture is designed to be modular and scalable, with RESTful APIs supporting integration with future features like payment gateways, product recommendations, and fraud detection mechanisms.By incorporating real-time tracking, secure role-based access, and a user-friendly interface, this system bridges the gap between traditional auctions and modern e-commerce, offering a flexible and transparent platform for online transactions.
